As students progress from secondary school to junior college, they are expected to take greater ownership and responsibility for their learning.

If students have difficulty understanding a concept or need clarification, they should take the initiative to arrange for one-to-one or small group consultations with their teachers. They can speak to their teachers after class or email them to make an appointment.  The school has a designated space (called 'the Wishing Well') located near the staff rooms to facilitate student consultations with their teachers. Students are encouraged to seek their teachers for help whenever they have questions regarding their studies.

The various academic departments also conduct remedial programmes for students who need additional academic support.
