The shift from face-to-face to online lectures will not lead to an increase in curriculum time. The total curriculum time allocated for each subject per week (including lectures, tutorials and practicals) remains unchanged and is aligned to MOE's guidelines for each subject.
Students will be issued with clear instructions and a viewing schedule for each subject. Subject teachers will also monitor students’ progress during tutorials. There is no need for students to complete all the material at one sitting, e.g. on Gap Day. They should pace themselves and plan their viewing schedule throughout the week, e.g. during free periods at school or after school on weekdays, and on weekends.
